Together in the Word What are we going to do?

Tuesday together in the Word.
.
On days when life is difficult and I feel over whelmed, as I do a lot lately,
it helps to remember in my prayers that all God requires of me is to trust Him
and be His friend. I find I can do that.
.
My sister and I are going through probability one of the toughest trials that
sisters can go through collectively.
Each of us are different and each are handling our mothers disability in
our own way. And this is hard for us as we are all so different, and we
each think the other should do it our way. So often we say to each other
what are we going to do?
.
We know that God will do the best for us and our mother; but we are wondering
how painful the best will turn out to be.
.
Pray for us as we are watching our mother become more feeble. Each of us are
living each day trusting in Him. We are struggling to abide in the peace
of God that will crush anything Satan tries to do to us. The Lord created the world
out of chaos, He can easily deal with any problem that we have.
.
The scripture I am trusting in is 1 Cor 10:13
.
God is faithful who will not suffer you to be tempted above that which you
are able, but with the temptation also make a way of escape.
.
On days when life is difficult and I feel overwhelmed, as I do so much lately,
it helps to remember in my prayers that all God requires of me it to trust
in Him and be His friend.
I CAN DO THAT.
.
Lately I think all four of us have in our on way been regretting the past
and fearing the future. Suddenly God was speaking to me.
"My name is I AM."
I waited and God continued:
When you live in the past, with its mistakes and regrets, it is hard.
I am not there.
My name is not I was.
When you life in the future, with its problems and fears, it is hard.
I am not there.
My name is not I will be.
When you live in this moment, it is not hard.
I am here.
My name is I AM.
.
Remember us in your prayers.

  1. Yes you can! and HE IS! I came over from DeeDee's blog. I will be praying for you. As a fellow nurse, working on a neuro floor, I see this trial often. Weary faces making difficult decisions--my heart goes out to you and your family.
